Semco Teak Sealer
Our Semco Teak Sealer is a solvent based teak finish with water-like viscosity which further protects your teak from mould/mildew, UV light, moisture & colour loss. Semco does not contain silicone, varnish, polymers or exotic oils.
When properly applied, your teak will look as if it has nothing on it, yet it will not turn grey or support the growth of mildew.
When applying, make sure teak is dry before you start. Always use a lint free cloth or foam brush as this will allow you to control where you are applying the sealer, avoiding flicks & splashes. When using Semco for the first time, we recommend applying two coats. The first coat will be absorbed into the wood and disappear, the second coat will then provide the colour finish you require. On future applications, you can then choose to either apply one or two coats for maintenance.
With seasonal recoating, your teak will be preserved & protected for many years.
US Gallon – Approx coverage of 30 square metres
Teak Cleaner
Our cleaner will easily remove all stains, oils and any old sealers removed from the wood, whilst ensuring none of the original soft grain from the wood is lost.
Working in 1 metre squared areas, simply soak your teak with fresh water. Then spray (or otherwise apply) the red cleaner and agitate with a soft brush or scouring pad. You will then see all unwanted dirt lift out before you wash away.
Once you have applied our part 1 red cleaner, you may want to apply our part 2 green teak renovator. Simply apply the renovator in the same way you should with the part 1 cleaner, and you will see your teak come back to life to its original colour. Your teak should then be washed with fresh water and allowed to thoroughly dry.
Teak Renovator
Our Green Teak Renovator works brilliantly and will bring your teak back to life to it’s original colour. Your teak should then be washed with fresh water and allowed to thoroughly dry.
We highly recommend you apply our Red Teak Cleaner (part 1) first. Our red teak cleaner will give your teak a deep clean which does not involve any heavy scrubbing. Our cleaner will easily remove all stains, oils and any old sealers. Working in 1 metre squared areas, simply soak your teak with fresh water. Then spray (or otherwise apply) the red cleaner and agitate with a soft brush or scouring pad. You will then see all unwanted dirt lift out before you wash away.
