When you sleep on a boat, light can be a problem. It may be dark when you go to bed, but the sun can rise very early. Our boat portlight blinds help block the early morning light, so you can stay asleep and wake up when you want.

The blinds use a three-layer design. Two layers of blackout material help block out the light. The two layers overlap by a few centimetres. This lets air pass through while helping keep the cabin dark. A third layer is made from a dense mosquito net. It helps keep mosquitoes and other bugs outside.

Boat portlight blinds for open and closed portlights

These boat portlight blinds work with both open and closed portlights. They are fitted from inside the boat, so you do not need to go outside. This is useful when the portlight is open and the blind sits outside the portlight opening.

Fitting the blind is quick and easy. First, attach the metal plate to the portlight with the supplied double-sided tape. The magnet then holds the blind in place.

The blind has a foldable chromed steel frame. The frame stretches the screen into shape. A cord attached to the magnet pulls the screen tight against the frame of the portlight. The blind is ready to use in just a few seconds.

Easy to fit and store
